Midwest Microbrew
Midwest Microbrew is a craft beer site I run with my brother-in-law. We track down independent breweries around the Midwest, sit down with the people who run them, and share the stories that never make it onto the label.
What we do
We visit breweries, interview the brewmasters, and turn those conversations into articles, a podcast, and short clips. It started as a road-trip habit and grew into a real network of brewers and owners across Iowa, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and beyond. A lot of them now point us toward the next place worth covering.
Keeping up with it
The bottleneck is always volume. One visit becomes an interview, a write-up, and a stack of clips. To keep that moving, I built a small pipeline that helps cut the long interviews down into short-form videos — less time in the editor, more time actually talking to brewers.
Where to find it
Everything lives at midwestmicrobrew.com. The interviews are on YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Podcasts, and we post along the way on Instagram.
